The difference between tempered glass, semi-tempered glass and heat strengthened glass

Release time: 2023-03-25

The difference between tempered glass, semi-tempered glass and heat strengthened glass is that tempered glass has good impact and wear resistance due to its surface being processed through hot treatment, cold treatment and chemical treatment, while semi-tempered glass has its surface heated partially to form a thin film, thereby increasing its strength and hardness. Heat strengthened glass is a special type of reinforced glass which has been heat treated to increase its impact and wear resistance.
The similarities between tempered glass, semi-tempered glass and heat strengthened glass are that all three of them have good impact and wear resistance due to their surface treatments. The differences are that tempered glass is processed through hot treatment, cold treatment and chemical treatment, while semi-tempered glass is processed partially through heating, and heat strengthened glass is heat treated entirely.
